Genetic Services of Western Australia
Genetic counselling deals with the human problems associated with the occurrence of a genetic disorder. Counselling is available from a state wide genetic counselling service centre at King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women. Other genetic counselling services include Princess Margaret Hospital, and the Disability Services Commission. Outreach clinics are held in Albany, Bunbury, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Port Hedland and Joondalup. Support is offered for families dealing with abnormalities diagnosed before birth.

Genetic Support Council WA is a not-for-profit non-government organisation to promote and develop awareness of genetic conditions within the community; provide information and advocacy to individuals and families; foster research; encourage and support service delivery by genetic support groups.

Noah's Ark Toy Library
Assistance in promoting a child's physical and intellectual development is provided through the advice of trained staff, a wide range of toys, many specially-designed for the Library, educational aids, and resource material.
The service is available to children with special needs throughout Western Australia. Library staff members are trained to advise on the selection and use of specialised equipment and assist therapists, teachers and carers in their choice of appropriate resources to support therapy or educational programmes.
Schools, Pre-primaries and Child Care Centres, which include children with special needs are also entitled to use the service.

The State Child Development Centre is an assessment and follow up centre for children with developmental disabilities. A multidisciplinary team is involved in the assessment and management of physical, social, emotional and intellectual problems.
Support Organisation for Trisomy and related disorders (SOFT WA)

Tackers Foundation WA (children with all types of transplants)
Provides support services to all children suffering from illness where the cure is a new heart, liver, kidney or lung transplant and to suppport the children after the have had their transplant operation. In addition we aim to support the sibling and families of these children who face many issues of their own. Aim to create awareness in the community of the need for organ donation. There are many people on transplant waiting lists and many lives can be saved through greater awareness.

Telethon Speech & Hearing

The Australasian CHARGE Association
Families of newly diagnosed children with CHARGE are provided with an information package on request, and parent and professional representatives are available to discuss CHARGE with any interested persons. The Australian Arthrogryposis Support Group (TAAG) Inc
The Australian Arthrogryposis Group (TAAG) Inc was started in 1990 by a group of parents who have children with arthrogryposis. The birth of a child with a disability can be a devastating experience for the family involved and the rarity of this condition may make the family feel extremely isolated. Although each child may have different manifestations of arthrogryposis, just meeting another family with an affected child may be a tremendous relief.
The Neurological Council of WA (Inc)
