People With Disabilities WA (PWD) , the State's peak consumer disability advocacy group, The Kalparrin Centre for parents and families of children with a disability, the Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre and Headwest, are the agencies providing information and assistance through Disability FirstStop. Services Provided

 Disability First Stop provides:

  • Information over the telephone, from email and face-to-face 
  • Access to web based information covering a broad range of contacts appropriate to the initial phase post diagnosis
  • Supported referral to relevant services
  • Provision of professional advocacy support
  • Linking to people who have similar personal experiences
